The conference I attended in Reconceptualizing Early Childhood Education asserts itself subtly in my thoughts. I am trying to come to grips with next years plan. One idea is to go back to the Playhouse. I do not want to say goodbye to that place yet, and M shows a strong desire to be there.
When I hear other parents, I wonder how can we not buy into this discourse of labeling our children. It comes so loaded with assumptions of problems. On the other hand, how can you objectively tell when some sort of proactive intervention is needed?
