joyful word play

M is becoming. . .more flexible linguistically. He is numeric as always, arranging his numbers at the moment, and he wants a puzzle that goes up to 100. What he really wants are bigger, chunkier numbers that he can manipulate as players in his productions. He tells me that the word cheddar in Spanish is Chea der and constantly invents Spanish sounding words. Last night he quizzed his daddy on a question he had written:
WA blyg [What do you]
LiN Too EIAR? [Like to Eat?]
Three choices were drawn as symbols:
gum, cookies, or donuts
